Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 • Effective 1 April 2026

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, you have specific rights over your personal data. GyanSanchaar is committed to honouring these rights. Here is what you can do and how to exercise each right.

Withdraw consent for data processing at any time. Withdrawal does not affect lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Account functionality may be impacted.

Nominate another individual to exercise your data rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

  2. Include your registered phone number or email for identity verification
  3. We acknowledge within 24 hours and respond within 30 days
  4. If unresolved, escalate to our Grievance Officer: grievance@gyansanchaar.com
  5. You may also appeal to the Data Protection Board of India once constituted under Section 18 of the DPDP Act 2023

Some rights are subject to exceptions under the DPDP Act 2023 (e.g., data retained for legal compliance under the Companies Act 2013, CERT-In Directions 2022, or IT Act 2000).
