About COMEDK

COMEDK UGET 2026 was conducted on May 11, 2026 for admission to engineering programmes at 190+ private engineering colleges in Karnataka under the COMEDK consortium. Unlike KCET (which requires Karnataka domicile for government seats), COMEDK is open to students from all states and countries — it is effectively a national-level test for Karnataka's private engineering ecosystem.

Key COMEDK-participating colleges include PES University, BMS College of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, RNSIT, Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Jyothy Institute, and Cambridge Institute of Technology. For students from Northeast India seeking to study engineering in Bengaluru — India's technology capital — COMEDK is the primary route to reputed private colleges without requiring state domicile.
