KEAM 2026: Fresh Medical Applications and Course Additions, Till 27 July

Kerala's Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has reopened KEAM 2026 online applications, but only for two specific situations, and only for a few days. If you are trying to get into Medical or Medical Allied courses in Kerala this year, one of the two applies to you, and mixing them up will get your submission rejected.

Two Different Situations, One Short Window

CEE's notification splits candidates into two groups, and the process is different for each:

1. 1You have not submitted any KEAM 2026 application at all. You can now file a fresh application, but only for Medical and Medical Allied courses.
2. 2You already applied to KEAM 2026 for engineering, architecture, pharmacy or any other course. You cannot file a fresh application. Instead, you can add Medical and Medical Allied courses, or add an NRI, Minority or Category claim, to the application you already have on file.

The notification is explicit on this point: a fresh application from someone who has already applied under KEAM 2026 will simply be rejected. Check which group you are in before you touch the form.

If You Have Not Applied to KEAM 2026 Yet

This route is open only to candidates who have qualified in NEET-UG 2026, conducted by NTA. It covers Medical and Medical Allied courses in Kerala, including newly added programmes such as BSc (Hons.) Horticulture and Integrated Biology/Microbiology under Kerala Agricultural University.

To apply:

1. 1Go to www.cee.kerala.gov.in and use the 'KEAM 2026-Online Application' link.
2. 2Complete the online application following the steps in clause 7.4 of the KEAM 2026 Prospectus.
3. 3Download the Application Acknowledgement Page once you finish, and keep your own copy.
4. 4You do not need to send the Acknowledgement Page or any documents to the CEE office. Keep it for your own records only.

If You Have Already Applied to KEAM 2026

You do not file a new application. On the same website, you can add Medical and Medical Allied courses to your existing KEAM 2026 application, and separately add an NRI, Minority or Category claim if either applies to you. Both facilities run on the same website, in the same window.

Why Kerala Runs This as a Separate Window

KEAM's engineering, architecture and pharmacy applications open well before NEET results exist. Medical and Medical Allied admission cannot work the same way, since eligibility depends on a NEET-UG score that only exists after NTA declares results. CEE has run a dedicated catch-up window for Medical and Medical Allied applications after NEET results for years now; it did the same thing for KEAM 2023, when this exact kind of window opened once NEET UG 2023 results were out. If you are planning around a future KEAM cycle, this is not a one-time arrangement.

This window is four days long, start to finish. Do not leave either the fresh application or the course addition for the last morning.
