SSUHS CEE 2026 Result: Minimum Percentile and Marks for Nursing, Pharmacy Admission in Assam

Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati, declared the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 result on 17 July 2026. The notice, No.SSUHS/29/2026/Ex/9545, is signed by the Controller of Examinations, Prof. (Dr.) Karabi Baruah. The exam was held on 7 June 2026, for admission into B.Sc Nursing, D.Pharm, B.Pharm and Allied and Health Care courses, at both government and private institutes across Assam.

Scorecards are live from 18 July 2026 on www.ssuhs.ac.in. You will need the Application ID and password you set while filling the online application. The number on that scorecard is only half the story, though. What actually decides whether you can apply for a seat is your percentile against the minimum cutoff set for your category, and for the type of institution you are applying to. Both tables are below.

What Your OMR Subject Choice Decides First

Before percentile enters the picture, an earlier choice matters: which subject you marked on your OMR sheet at the exam centre, Biology or Mathematics.

• Candidates who opted Biology are provisionally eligible for B.Sc Nursing, D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and Allied and Health Care courses.
• Candidates who opted Mathematics are provisionally eligible for D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Bachelor in Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, and Bachelor of Optometry.

"Provisionally eligible" is SSUHS's own phrase, and it is worth sitting with. Clearing the subject requirement and the percentile cutoff gets you eligible to apply. It is not a seat. Final admission still depends on the other eligibility conditions and admission guidelines set by the concerned regulatory council for each course -- the Pharmacy Council of India for pharmacy programmes, the Indian Nursing Council for nursing.

Minimum Percentile and Marks -- Government Institutions

• B.Sc Nursing -- General (UR/EWS): 30th percentile, 38 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 20th percentile, 35 marks.
• D.Pharm / B.Pharm -- General (UR/EWS): 30th percentile, 38 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 20th percentile, 34 marks.
• Allied and Healthcare -- General (UR/EWS): 30th percentile, 39 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 20th percentile, 35 marks.

Minimum Percentile and Marks -- Private Institutions

• B.Sc Nursing -- General (UR/EWS): 20th percentile, 35 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 18th percentile, 34 marks.
• D.Pharm / B.Pharm -- General (UR/EWS): 20th percentile, 34 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 18th percentile, 34 marks.
• Allied and Healthcare -- General (UR/EWS): 20th percentile, 35 marks. SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang: 18th percentile, 34 marks.

Why Two Different Cutoff Tables Exist

Government institutes in Assam draw far more applicants than they have seats for, so SSUHS keeps the floor higher: 30th percentile for general category, 20th for reserved categories. Private institutes have more seats relative to demand, so the floor drops to 20th percentile general and 18th percentile reserved. MOBC(NCL) is Assam's own reservation category, Most Other Backward Classes under the non-creamy layer, alongside the more familiar SC, ST and OBC. Divyang covers candidates with disabilities. Both tables agree on one point: clearing the percentile makes you eligible. It does not reserve you a seat.

What This Means If You Are Applying to RIPT Group of Institutions

RIPT Group of Institutions, Sonapur, in Kamrup Metropolitan district, is one of the private institutes in Assam where this SSUHS CEE result decides admission directly. D.Pharm and B.Pharm run at RIPT's Regional College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. BPT, MPT, BMLS and MMLS run at Regional College of Allied and Healthcare, under the Allied and Healthcare category. Because RIPT is a private institute, the private-institution cutoffs above are the ones that apply, not the government table:

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm at RIPT: General 20th percentile (34 marks); SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang 18th percentile (34 marks).
• BPT, BMLS, MPT, MMLS at RIPT (Allied and Healthcare): General 20th percentile (35 marks); SC/ST/OBC/MOBC(NCL)/Divyang 18th percentile (34 marks).

One thing worth flagging honestly, because it is the easiest detail to get wrong: this notice's percentile table lists B.Sc Nursing as its own category, but RIPT's nursing wing, P Baruah School of Nursing, runs GNM and ANM, not a B.Sc Nursing programme. GNM at RIPT does require a qualifying SSUHS CEE score. This particular notice does not publish a separate GNM percentile line, so do not assume the B.Sc Nursing cutoff above carries over to GNM. Confirm the GNM-specific requirement directly with RIPT or SSUHS before ruling yourself in or out on that basis.

Clearing the Cutoff Is the Start, Not the Finish

Meeting the minimum percentile makes you provisionally eligible to apply. It does not reserve a seat, guarantee admission, or replace document verification. Two things decide what happens after that: seat availability at your chosen college for your specific course, and whether you meet every other condition set by that course's regulatory council. Exactly how an institute converts a list of eligible candidates into actual admits, by merit order, counselling rounds, or on a rolling basis, is not spelled out in this notice, and it varies by institute. For RIPT specifically, confirm the process directly with the admissions office.

Keep these ready once you start applying: Class 10 and 12 admit cards, mark sheets and pass certificates; original migration and transfer certificates; a gap certificate if there is a break in your studies; your Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC); caste certificate, if applicable; six recent passport-size photographs; and your CEE admit card and scorecard.
