B.A. is India's most common undergraduate degree, and also its most flexible — a 3-year Arts programme built around a major subject (or a small group of subjects) chosen from whatever the college's own departments teach: Economics, English, Sociology, Political Science, Psychology, History, Philosophy, a regional language, and more, depending on the institution.
