ஒரு உண்மையான பிரச்சினையிலிருந்து பிறந்த தளம்
ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும், அசாம், மேகாலயா, மணிப்பூர், நாகாலாந்து மற்றும் பிற வடகிழக்கு மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மாணவர்கள் கல்லூரி சேர்க்கைக்குத் தயாராகின்றனர் — பெரும்பாலும் நம்பகமான தகவல் குறைவாகவே கிடைக்கும் நிலையிலும், நம்பகமாக வழிகாட்ட யாரும் இல்லாத நிலையிலும்.
இருந்த முறை உடைந்திருந்தது. ஆலோசகர்கள் கட்டணம் வசூலித்தனர். முகவர்கள் மாணவருக்குப் பொருந்தும் கல்லூரிகளை அல்ல, கமிஷன் தரும் கல்லூரிகளைத் தள்ளினர். குடும்பங்கள் வதந்திகளின் அடிப்படையில் முடிவெடுத்தன. சிறிய நகரங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள் குறிப்பாக பாதிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
இதை மாற்றவே Gyan Sanchaar உருவாக்கப்பட்டது — ஒவ்வொரு கல்லூரியும் சுயாதீனமாக சரிபார்க்கப்படும், ஒவ்வொரு விண்ணப்பமும் இலவசமாக இருக்கும், மற்றும் ஒவ்வொரு மாணவரும் தான் எங்கிருந்து வந்தாலும் ஒரே தரமான தகவலைப் பெறும் தளம்.
